Rojales Youth Department presents its activities for this summer

Highlights include the Heredades Rock festival and the diversity of sporting activities throughout the season

Rojales town hall is presenting various activities for this summer organised by the Youth Department and aimed at young people. This month the activities start with the ‘Ascent up the Cabecico Soler’ hill for the ‘Magic Night of the Enchantress’ (Noche Mágica de la Encantá) on San Juan night, Sunday the 23^rd of June, which will set off at 10pm.

For the month of July the Youth Department has prepared leisure and free time activities like the Street Dance Workshop, from the 22^nd to the 26^th of July. On Saturday July 27^th the Second Go Karting Championship will be contested, and for Saturday August 3^rd the youths of the municipality will go to enjoy ‘Aquatic Activities in Santa Pola’.

For July 26^th, in the district of Heredades, and organised by the Heredades Rock Association, the 2013 Heredades Rock festival will be held with the bands Santelmo, Acero and Prebostes Taraos performing.

Sport is also a feature of the programme with the 29^th Sala Villa de Rojales Football Tournament, which starts on Tuesday July 9^th with 2 games each day, one at 9pm and the other at 10pm. There are Swimming Courses for children and adults being held from the 30^th of July to the 17^th of August. As a novelty this year there will also be Aquazumba all through the month of July.

Finally, just like last year, every Wednesday in August there will be summer cinema at the Malecón del Soto.
