From June 21st, because it is the start of the summer season, the spaces along Calle Ramón Gallud in which people can usually park for up to one hour will be eliminated. Councillor for commerce, Police and Traffic for Torrevieja Town Hall Augustina Esteve explained this is because it gets busy at this time of year and it will free up an extra lane for traffic to flow.
She added that the other one-hour parking spaces on streets like Bazán, Orihuela, the Paseo de la Libertad and the Rambla Juan Mateo will continue to operate in the same way.
